The Global Brand Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns designed to drive business results. Within the Global Brand Marketing team, the Focused Service Brand Marketing team leads marketing strategy for an exciting portfolio of brands: Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton and Tru by Hilton. The Manager, Focused Service Brand Marketing Strategy - APAC will report to the VP, Focused Service Brand Marketing (based in our McLean, VA, USA headquarters), with a dotted line to the Director, Focused Service Brand Management – APAC (based in our Singapore office).


In this role, you will contribute to the success of the team by working with Brand and Marketing leadership to drive the strategic growth, development, health and commercial performance of our Focused Service brands in APAC. As we grow into new markets, you will help to determine the brand positioning, product, and guest experience of our brands in each market by building a deep understanding of consumer and owner needs and the competitive context in APAC.  With a broader cross-functional team, you will also contribute to the messaging we use to describe our brands to the owner community and to guests.


What will I be doing?


As a Manager, Focused Service Brand Marketing Strategy - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Partner with the Focused Service Brand Management – APAC team to develop and bring to life the Focused Service Brand growth strategy for the APAC region.
  • Identify the appropriate competitive set and understand in detail how they are positioning themselves in the marketplace through benchmarking activities.
  • Understand our target guests and their needs in all aspects of the guest experience, such as welcome, sleep, shower, and dining.
  • Understand our target owners and their needs.
  • Assist the team in making the appropriate trade-offs between investment cost and product enhancement to ensure an appealing product for guests and a competitive financial return for owners.
  • Work with the team to create development collateral and articulate in a compelling manner the value of our Focused Service brands to potential owners as attractive investment opportunities.
  • Maintain an integrated perspective on value creation that enables Hilton to optimize revenue, guest satisfaction, guest loyalty, owner investment costs, hotel operating and support costs.
  • Collaborate with key partners and actively manage stakeholders across the enterprise.

A Manager, Focused Service Brand Marketing Strategy - APAC serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Six (6) years in a brand strategy, corporate marketing, customer insights, or product/experience development role
  • Ability to obtain all necessary travel documents to travel up to 40% of time in-region and internationally as needed
  • Experienced in project management and proactive to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of work
  • Experienced in building positive and productive relationships across a matrixed organization
  • Passionate about leveraging consumer insights to power brand growth and innovation
  • Ability to synthesize a large amount of information and integrate various perspectives to develop a solution
  • Good communication skills and able to excite through writing
  • Ability to balance multiple objectives and weigh trade-offs while developing a solution
  • Experience working in the F&B or hospitality industry, especially with a focused service-style brand at the corporate and/or property level is favorable
  • Knowledge of franchise organizations will be useful
